Richard Madeley says goodbye to his ‘beloved wife Judy’ on Good Morning Britain
RICHARD Madeley said goodbye to his “beloved wife Judy” on Good Morning Britain as he isolated himself in Wales before I’m A Celebrity.
It comes as The Sun revealed that the Richard and Judy star had signed up for around £ 200,000 and will be heading to Gwrych Castle near Abergele in North Wales this weekend.
The flagship series returns to Wales for a second year due to coronavirus travel restrictions preventing filming at its usual Australian jungle location.
Appearing on GMB via video recorded today, Richard, 65, revealed he had isolated himself for 10 days in a chalet near the castle ruins.
Showing the beautiful scenery, he said: “I have been in quarantine for about 10 days now, and if any of you have been in quarantine my god that’s boring I mean I would welcome any trial just for something to do. It’s very pretty though, I’m on a Welsh farmhouse, beautiful views and everything, but just want to start. “
He added, “I want to say a final goodbye to my beloved wife Judy, goodbye Judy, goodbye kids, see you on the other side, wish me luck.”
